Something I’ve been working on

So I’ve been working on a podcast for what has become 10 episodes now. I have to say I’ve had a lot of fun working with Mr. Bander and the rest of the crew (Shout outs to Jeff and Carissa).

It was brought to my attention that while people realized it was me tweeting they thought I was tweeting about some stupid shit podcast I liked when in fact I was tweeting about a stupid shit podcast I’ve been working on. So I thought post a little blog post to confess yes in fact this stupid shit podcast has a lot of time and effort in it from me and a few of my friends and even my children have to put up with it.

In the 10th episode I declare a challenge that will lead to me getting another tattoo if we have a certain number of listeners by a certain date. Come to think of it maybe you shouldn’t listen. Or tweet it. Or Facebook it (is that a thing?) Yeah don’t do any of that.

It’s probably for the best.

Retro Night

Last night we watched Rocky. Yeah on the dvd and in it’s entirety. It’s a movie that Jen and I can agree is a classic. We watched the video commentary after with Stalone going over this and that about the movie in a quasi interview format. It’s amazing how few people and how little money they actually shot that movie with. It’s also a good glimpse back into the past where if you didn’t have a phone it meant you didn’t have a phone in your little dive apartment it didn’t mean you didn’t have anything to play angry birds on.

I also picked up a CD (yeah we still go to the record store and buy media directly from them.) of Queen: “News of the World” because “I” had it on vinyl as a kid. I put I in quotes because by I, I actually mean my sister. She played the shit out of that record. I think I’m going to pick up more shit I had on vinyl and tape. Come to think of it I’m sure my sister had the sound track to Rocky.

This also means I have a Quiet Riot CD in my future as well.
